Dear CONTAM team,
I am currently working on a high-rise MURB. In order to obtain cross-contamination and other contaminant transport-related metrics, I need to use at least two species and contaminants per unit (one for PM2.5 and one for CO2) so that I can tag in which unit they originated. Including outdoor contaminants, I need at least 562 species/contaminants in total.
I was able to add all of the species to the project. However, I encountered the following error when I tried to add them as contaminants:
"Requested size larger than block for CCO"
CONTAM closes after displaying this error. It seems like the limit was 496. Any number of contaminants above that resulted in an error
I went through the CONTAM User Guide to try to understand the problem better, but it says: "You can include as many species/contaminants as you need within a project" and does not mention any limits to the number of species or contaminants.
Have I encountered a hard limit for contaminants in a project? Is there any way to avoid this error?
I have been thinking of ways I can work with fewer contaminants, but all options would either impact the granularity of my results or require the use of two separate models.
I would greatly appreciate any insight or suggestions on this matter
Best Regards,
Danielle
