CONTAM-SKETCHUP-TRNSYS

Hello,

I created CONTAM model, extruded it using the export tool, then I made changes to the geometry (roofs, skylights, and shades) using the TRNSYS-SKETCHUP plugin. However, according to the CONTAM manual, for TRNSYS to use the modified IDF geometry I would need to edit/modify the TRNSYS .b18 file with new geometry by hand. The procedure seems very time consuming and error prone.

Is there an easier, more automated way to achieve this?

Alas, there is currently no “more automated” way to do this.
