Hi everyone

Hope everyone is doing well. This is my first post and writing this to seek an advise from those who have been using CONTAM for sometime and are proficient with the software.
Currently a PhD researcher working on energy retrofitting and ieq of residential dwellings.
I am trying to input the WTH ( Weather data file) to the model but the option is greyed out as illustrated on the below image. Any advise on how to fix this is greatly appreciated.  The WTH file was created using the Energy plus EPW file.  Weather file .WTH input error .png

Thank you
Best wishes

I strongly suggest that you watch the Introduction to CONTAM video tutorials for answers to this and other basic questions on the use of CONTAM.
These are easily accessed via the NIST Multizone Modeling Website https://www.nist.gov/el/energy-and-environment-division-73200/nist-multizone-modeling.

In the meantime, you must be running a transient airflow simulation and set the weather file to be used via the Weather page of the Simulation Parameters.

Hi Stuart.

Thank you so much for sharing the resources and the advise. Yes its transient air flow simulation and this helped me realize that I had not selected the simulation type.

Best wishes
Buddila
