CFD0 input velocity and convention

Hello,

In CFD0, I'm wondering what's the difference between the input velocity within the WPP link tab of Simulation Parameters versus the input velocity within the Inlets tab?

Additionally, is there a standard convention for defining the direction of airflow? For example, do positive U-values typically indicate flow toward increasing grid coordinates?
