Error while trying to open idf file created by CONTAM3DExport using idf editor

Hi,

I am trying to run a coupled CONTAM-EnergyPlus simulation. I was able to create an idf file from the attached .prj file using CONTAM3DExport. However, when trying to open the created idf file using an .idf editor, it is creating errors highlighting lines 2840-2870. I had a look at the sample files provided on the NIST website as well as the NIST user guide but I am not able to pinpoint what is wrong. Can someone please advise?

I am attaching the .prj and .idf files.

As further information, I also get the same error message when trying to open the sample idf file with the idf editor. The error message is attached for reference.

Apologies for repeatedly responding to this thread. CONTAM3DExport defines objects in class AIRTERMINAL:SINGLEDUCT:UNCONTROLLED as AirTerminals:SingleDuct:Uncontrolled.  Looking at other EnergyPlus sample files,  redefining them as AirTerminal:SingleDuct:ConstantVolume:NoReheat resolves this error, and the idf editor is able to open the idf file.

Maybe Stuart or someone from NIST could clarify why this is happening.

Apologies for not responding sooner, but I was on furlough.

As you have figured out, the AirTerminal:SingleDuct:Uncontrolled object has been made obsolete as of EnergyPlus 9.3.

CONTAM3DExport creates 9.1 version IDFs, which still include the object.

This will be rectified in a later release of CONTAM3DExport.
