NIST IR 8537 - Workshop Report

Dear all,

 

NIST hosted the NIST Workshop on the Requirements for an Accordion Cipher Mode 2024 on June 20–21, 2024, at the National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE) in Rockville, Maryland. The workshop focused on discussing the design, implementation, and potential use cases of an Accordion Cipher Mode. Following the workshop, NIST published NIST IR 8537, which summarizes the feedback received from participants, and insights shared during the event.
