Prantsuse-Eesti ühisprogramm PARROT pakub reisigrante teadus- ja tehnoloogiaalaseks koostööks Prantsusmaa ja Eesti uurimisgruppide vahel. Eesmärk on aidata kaasa kõrgetasemelise teadus- ja tehnoloogiaalase koostöö arendamisele, toetada eelkõige uusi koostööprojekte ja samuti noorteadlaste ning doktorantide osalemist.
PARROT programmi 2026. aasta taotlusvoor on avatud ning taotlemise tähtaeg on 28. mai 2026.
Reisigrante antakse kaheks aastaks. ETAG katab Eesti teadlaste sõidukulud Prantsusmaale (500 eurot/lähetus) ja päevaraha (sisaldab ka majutuskulusid) 125 eurot/päev. Kokku on programmi Eesti eelarve aastas 30 000 eurot ehk 60 000 eurot kahe aasta peale. Prantsusmaa poolne rahastus katab Prantsuse teadustöötajate sõidukulud ja Prantsuse teadustöötajate päevarahad Eestis viibimise ajal. PARROT programmi Prantsusmaa eelarve on samuti 30 000 eurot aastas ehk 60 000 eurot kahe aasta peale.

PARROT Prantsuse-Eesti koostööprogrammi viib Prantsusmaal ellu Euroopa- ja Välisministeerium (MEAE) ja Kõrgharidus-, Teadus- ja Innovatsiooniministeerium (MESRI) ning Eestis Haridus- ja Teadusministeerium. Eestis koordineerivad programmi Eesti Teadusagentuur ning Prantsuse Suursaatkonna koostöö- ja kultuuritegevuse talitus.

The French–Estonian joint programme PARROT offers travel grants for scientific and technological cooperation between research groups in France and Estonia. The aim is to support the development of high-level scientific and technological collaboration, with a particular focus on new joint projects as well as the participation of early-career researchers and doctoral students.
The 2026 call for applications for the PARROT programme is open, and the application deadline is 28 May 2026.
Travel grants are awarded for two years. The Estonian Research Council (ETAG) covers travel expenses for Estonian researchers to France (€500 per trip) and provides a daily allowance (including accommodation costs) of €125 per day. The total Estonian budget for the programme is €30,000 per year, i.e. €60,000 over two years. The French side funding covers travel expenses for French researchers and their daily allowances during their stay in Estonia. The French budget for the PARROT programme is also €30,000 per year, i.e. €60,000 over two years.
