[Michael Chan]

I see that Linux.ucla.edu is back online! Did we migrate the user accounts over from the old server and the home folders or was that lost?

Hey Mike, and any other members wondering this.

All of the home folders are alright. But we are still working on setting up the infrastructure needed to access them (the loss of our room coincided with a transition from old to significantly newer hardware). I don't want to make any promises I cannot keep, but you should be able to access your user account and any data on it in the nearish future.

Until then I would not worry about it- Eli
