Does anyone knows why is it that once a computer have run Linux it will no longer recognize a DOS-based hard drive (as windows)?  Seems that Linux writes something on BIOS... could it be?  The same thing happens after booting from a hard-drive with system commander: the computer will no longer be able to read a bootable C: hard drive with windows.

Thanks,

Sergio

A linux organized partition is fundamentally
different from a DOS partition.  If you set up your
HD properly,  this should not be a problem.  You
may use Parted Magic, a free app, to do this job.
You can download it from SourceForge.
