The Public Libraries Directors Association (PLDA) of Suffolk County, NY affirms its commitment to diversity and inclusion by offering a $5,000 scholarship to one eligible applicant. The scholarship focuses on increasing the recruitment and retention of a new generation of racially and ethnically diverse librarians in the library profession.
