Hello all,
The Plainview-Old Bethpage Public Library will undergo a major construction project, which will require temporary closures and adjustments to our hours and services. During this time, much of our collection will be inaccessible. 

Library Closures:

  • Sunday, October 5 – Wednesday, October 8: Closed to both staff and the public.

  • Monday, October 13: Closed in observance of the holiday.

Partial Reopening:

  • The Library will reopen to the public on Thursday, October 9, with limited services and adjusted operating hours.

Adjusted Hours of Service (effective October 9):

  • Monday – Thursday: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm

  • Friday: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm

  • Saturday: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

  • Sunday: 11:00 am – 5:00 pm

We anticipate a full reopening of the Library on Sunday, October 26.
