Join the Empire State Library Network and Expert Voices Together (EVT) for an interactive training with tools to lower online risk, protect your digital footprint, respond to harassment or doxxing, and continue your important work safely, confidently, and without fear. EVT is a broader support program for journalists, academics, researches, and librarians providing safety, care, and connection so critical voices can remain in the public sphere.
Presenter: Jarrod Cochran, PhD, Senior Program Manager, Expert Voices Together. With a background in crisis response, advocacy, education, emergency medicine, and trauma-informed care, Jarrod leverages his diverse experiences and dynamic leadership to support academics, researchers, and journalists who are facing hate and harassment in its myriad forms. Working at Right To Be, Jarrod works to uphold the organization’s mission: to empower everyone to build a world that is free of harassment, and filled with humanity.
