Earlier this year, we launched our new website and membership database. 🎉

Since January, individuals have utilized the Join Form available on the website to establish a profile in the new database and become active members of the association.

In an attempt to get all members into the system, we extended the "open renewal/join" period for 2024 from January 8th - May 31st. Current members and anyone wishing to join should complete the join form during that time. The completion of this form will provide an expiration date of May 31st, 2025.
 

It is imperative for all members to join the new system to be able to:

• VOTE in the upcoming NYLA Council Elections and Unit Election! If you do not join the new membership database, you cannot vote in the election.
• REGISTER for this year’s conference at member rates! Registration forms for the NYLA conference will provide fees based on your member status.
• ACCESS additional member benefits and resources! Renew today to access all member content available through the new website.
• RECEIVE your full year of membership! The 2024 – 2025 Membership year begins June 1st .

*All new membership accounts are placed in a “pending” status once submitted so the office can review all forms. Previous active members with an expiration date past May 2024, will be eligible for a prorate. Prorate information will be emailed to those eligible members. Once new accounts are reviewed, the member profile will be made active. Please allow 1- 3 business days for this process to be completed. Organizational account included members will be emailed their new username and instructions to set up their new profile password.
