Is there any operational alerting/notification capabilities on the kamanja roadmap?

For instance:

• If file processor doesn't connect to a kafka queue, send an email alert 
  
• If output adapter is not consuming messages from kafka queue, send a notification
  
• and so on...?

Yes. We intend to generate internal status as kamanja messages and write monitoring modules to consume them. In the meantime, the client can consume status information emitted to the ZK to send alerts.
