Could not post comment on page

A seemingly disconnected error page was displayed when attempting to leave a comment in the comment section of a documentation page.  The error page says 

"ERROR: Time limit exhausted. Please enter CAPTCHA value again."

This seems disconnected since at the time there was no CAPTCHA dialogue at all.

What was the issue? Is the fix in the current release or next release?
