Interested in Sports Medicine? Want to be part of a fun, inclusive community on campus while gaining experience working with athletic injuries and human anatomy? Join UCSB Department of Recreation's Athletic Training Internship!

As an Athletic Training Intern (ATI), you will learn the tools to work directly with athletes from UCSB’s 27 Sport Clubs. Interns will work under the guidance of Certified Athletic Trainers to help assess, rehabilitate, and prevent injuries, as well as provide first aid and emergency care. ATIs will gain valuable clinical experience in the field of Sports Medicine and Athletic Training with hands-on involvement and guided mentorship. All of our interns will learn about anatomy, mechanisms of injury, and practice assessment and treatment skills through weekly inservice education. Together, we serve UCSB's Department of Recreation Sport Club teams!

We encourage all students to apply to this program regardless of experience or major.

Applications are due Thursday, October 5th at 6 PM and can be filled out at the following link: https://forms.gle/yNtGMDdEFPyzvikD9
