Hi, i'm an spanish, quechua and aymara speaker, that i'm glad to help to bring kolibri (now using ka-lite) to kids here in Puno, peru. almost 4000 m.a.s.l. near titikaka lake.

I'm working in Escuelab Puno, so it's important to us to translate and use.

Dear Neyder,

Thank you so much for reaching out. My name is Carine, I'm a LATAM Implementations Manager here at Learning Equality, and I also work on our Internationalization team, leading the volunteer community of translators. How are you?

I was so happy to receive your email! Not only because it is always great to hear from our users, but also because, coincidentally, we are actively pursuing volunteer translators for Quechua and Aymara languages.

Before I jump into the translation work, would you mind sharing a bit more about your work at the Escuelab Puno? How many students do you serve? What types of hardware do you use with KA Lite and the ratio of hardware per student? Any and all information would be much valuable.

In regards to the translation work, we will have the strings pertaining to our newest Kolibri release ready for translation in a couple of weeks. I would love to explain the translation process to you and give you a demo of Kolibri, in order to help you contextualize the work. Although a few things remained similar to KA Lite, Kolibri is a much more comprehensive platform.

Would it be possible for you to have a Skype or Google Hangouts call at all? If so, how does Wed, Thu or Friday during the week of Oct 30th sounds? We're based in San Diego, so you are 2hrs ahead of me. I'll defer it to you to suggest the date and time that suits you best.

Thanks again for reaching out, Neyder, and I look forward to hearing from you!

Best wishes,

Carine
