I thought people might like to know about this.
From the November email about Allan:

Allan was involved in the start of the Boston gender-free English country dance in 1995, and was a co-founder in 1980, with Carl Wittman, of the Durham NC gender-free English dance, Sun Assembly, which also still dances regularly. He taught Scottish dance at LCFD dance camp, and spent an extended time in Boston in the mid ’90s.

His start in Boston was as a Vietnam-era conscientious objector doing community building to counter urban development that threatened poor communities. He was involved in the earliest publication of RFD in the early ’70s, a journal for, among other things, rural gay men and radical faeries, that is still in print. His work in Raleigh-Durham included extensive AIDS activism and service.

You are cordially invited to A Celebration of the Life of Allan Troxler on April 25, 2026.

Please RSVP to clea...@gmail.com by Tuesday April 14 so that we may plan accordingly for the reception following the service.

For those attending with small children: the ERUUF facility has a chapel adjacent to the sanctuary that allows attendants to see and hear the service while providing privacy and a soundproof setting. No food or beverages are allowed in the chapel.

We hope you will be able to join us in celebrating Allan!
