Dear Friends,

We are excited to announce we are holding Fall camp Friday October 17 to Sunday October 19th at our old stomping ground Camp Woodstock in Woodstock Valley, CT.  We hope you will join us! And... Registration is OPEN! You can register here

We'll have Contra and English Country Dancing led by Sue Rosen and Chloe Levine.  Our staff musicians are Chimney Swift (A.Z Madonna on accordion and vocals, Cecile Leroy on cello, jaw hard and vocals, Daniel Raine on cittern, guitar, ukulele, banjo and vocals and Yaron Shragai on whistles, recorders, hand percussion, and vocals) and Milo Pierick on fiddle/violin. There will also be lots of camper-led activities and workshops - maybe led by YOU!

While camp at Woodstock will be similar in many ways to our previous camps, there will also be some important differences, which you can read more about on the LCFD website here. There is information about COVID precautions, as well as information about what to bring.

All dancing at LCFD camps is gender free, with no gendered terms used in teaching and calling. The strength of our community is in its diversity, and people of all genders, sexual orientations, ages, abilities, and levels of dance experience are encouraged to come and bring their whole selves to the event.

For lots more information about the weekend, check out the LCFD website, or go ahead and register today! If you have any questions, please write to ca...@lcfd.org.

Don't hesitate to reach out with any questions, and I hope to see you at camp!
