Don’t forget the dance this Saturday:

WHEN:  Saturday, October 22, 7:30-10:30 PM
WHO:   Caller: Ben Sachs-Hamilton; Music: Crossover
WHERE: First Church (U-U) of Jamaica Plain, Centre & Eliot Sts.

Ben Sachs-Hamilton danced with us in JP for quite a few years, and is a much-loved friend as well as an excellent caller. Crossover is a trio consisting of Alex Cumming (accordion, piano, & feet), Carol Bittenson (fiddle), and Len Bittenson (fiddle, viola & recorders), all also well-known and well-loved. You really don’t want to miss this one!

Proof of vaccination (including booster, if eligible) is required for admission to the dance. Any one of (1) vaccination card, (2) a photograph of a vaccination card, or (3) a digital record of vaccination is acceptable.

Masks must be worn (over your mouth and nose) in the hall at all times, except when sipping water. We will have some available in case you forget to bring yours. (Callers and musicians may be maskless while performing.)

Please do not bring snacks to share. Any food you bring for yourself should be eaten outside. We encourage you to bring your own water bottle, but we will have water and cups available.

If you’re not feeling well or have a rash, please stay home.

We always need volunteers to help set up and run the dance. If you’d like to help, contact

Admission is $5.00-$15.00 (sliding scale). Free for children 12 and under.

We're at the First Church Unitarian-Universalist in downtown Jamaica
Plain, on Eliot St. at the corner of Centre St., opposite the monument.

Please bring soft-soled shoes.
Please do not wear perfume, cologne, or other scented products, as some of our dancers are chemically sensitive, and experience discomfort when exposed to these materials.
