Expected outage affecting UPC/UPC++/GASNet online services this Friday

The server hosting the websites of Berkeley UPC, UPC++, and GASNet is

expected to be down for urgent scheduled maintenance on:

Friday, 7 Feb 2020, 10am - 2pm Pacific Time

During this time the following web sites are expected to be offline:

upcxx.lbl.gov

upc.lbl.gov

upc-lang.org

gasnet.lbl.gov

Information below provides details to help mitigate the impact to users

during the expected outage. The links below should continue to work and

provide the majority of functionality web visitors are likely to need.

UPC++

The main upcxx.lbl.gov redirector is expected to be down, but all web content should remain accessible here:

• https://bitbucket.org/berkeleylab/upcxx

Online installers for outdated releases might not function during the outage. Users are recommended to download the current 2019.9.0 release which uses an offline installer.

GASNet

Download mirrors should remain available:

• https://bitbucket.org/berkeleylab/gasnet/downloads

• https://sourceforge.net/projects/gasnet/files/

Berkeley UPC

Download mirrors should remain available:

• https://bitbucket.org/berkeleylab/upc-runtime/downloads

The default BUPC online translator is expected to remain on-line and in-service.
