hello, everyone;
     I'm a newbie in singularity, after I depolyed singularity in I HPC cluster, I found that I can not running a mpi application using IB EDR card. It looks like the application always using the ethernet ; When I and the envs like -genv I_MPI_FABRICS shm:dapl ; it doesnot work.
         So, my question is how can I use the IMPI + IB EDR;

         BTW, who can send me some documents or links to tell me how can I using openmpi + IB network?

Hi,

I've read (but i don't found the link) that IB libraries must be installed inside the container in order to take advantage of infiniband networks.

If you take a look to the mail "OpenMPI, Slurm & portability" that I've recently sent, you can find some solutions to use containers with IB.

BR,
Víctor.

Hi,

Does it work on the host ? If the answer is "yes", then try to install (at least) the same version within the container. Finally, try to check needed drivers if there are any...

I know that it works with OpenMPI and maybe MPICH, but I have no idea for your version.
