I noticed that the Scaffold ID sometimes equals the Taxon ID of a different organism....
for example: Scaffold ID 638276745 =
Simian immunodeficiency virus SIV-mnd 2
, while Taxon ID 638276745 =
Enterobacteria phage ES18
Is this on purpose? If so, can I make a plea to change it?

ID's in IMG are internal primary keys and cannot be changed.
There are probably hundreds/thousands of scaffold ids and taxon ids that overlap.
The scaffold ids and taxon ids have nothing to do with each other.
