IMG MER batch download of multiple datasets

I am trying to download 4977 metagenomes, which I've found on IMG MER by searching for their IMG Genome IDs. I have followed instructions using the attached pdf to begin the download process, but the transfer always fails, despite the fact that I can download individual metagenomes.

Is there a reason why this might be?

Did you get an error message? My guess is that ~5k data sets you are requesting is too large to process, which you should have gotten an error message via email. Or maybe the system is still processing your request?

When you submitted the download request, you should have gotten and a status URL, which you can use to check the status of your request.

The JGI Data Portal should email you when is done.
