Hello all -  


I am pleased to share with you information on the Pagoda project's participation in the SC21 conference this November:


  • UPC++ tutorial, Monday afternoon Nov 15th https://go.lbl.gov/sc21

    • Please register and join us for this half-day tutorial!

    • This is currently listed as an in-person tutorial, but is changing to on-line to allow remote participation.

  • Parallel Applications Workshop, Alternatives To MPI+X (PAW-ATM) https://go.lbl.gov/paw-atm21 

    • UPC++ team members will be presenting two papers about the library on Fri morning Nov 19th

  • We’ve also submitted a research poster about GASNet-EX (still awaiting notification of acceptance)

Hello all -


I am pleased to share the following updates with you:

  • Our GASNet-EX Research poster was accepted:

    • Research poster #109 "GASNet-EX Memory Kinds: Support for Device Memory in PGAS Programming Models"

  • All of our content will be available to remote attendees

I would also like to remind you that this Friday (Oct, 15) is the deadline for early registration pricing.


We look forward to interacting with all of you (virtually) at SC21 in November!

We are also pleased to announce that the MetaHipMer application, which was written using UPC++ by the ExaBiome team, is a Best Paper Finalist in the Research Paper track: Large Scale de Novo Metagenome Assembly Using GPUs.
