Migration of apollo docker image to a new PC

Hi,

Quick preface, I am an apollo & docker novice but I have been "maintaining" a persistent instance of apollo on a computer in our lab. However, the computer is being decommissioned so I would like to transfer our database to a new computer.

I tried saving the docker image (using docker save) then loading it onto the new computer and (docker load) and I can then open the right ports and access JBrowse but none of the data is there. I assume it has something to do with transferring the database contents or the location of the data files that are stored on the host machine but I cant get my head around it.

If anyone can lend a hand I would appreciate, sorry for the lack of detail but I am out of my depth with this stuff.
