Searches in Apollo using centimorgan distances

Hi All,

Is it possible to search using centimorgan distances in Apollo? Presently I do the following:

1) I upload the marker gff3 in Apollo

2) index that track and search by marker name OR 

3) index that track and search using the chromosomal coordinate range OR

4) Search by sequence (BLAT)

Is there a method to search by giving centimorgans ranges? Any other plugins if Apollo is not the one with this feature?

Hi there,

I think you probably have the right idea! Saw your email to my personal account.

The conversion is not quite defined by any formulas so can be difficult to automate but if you know of examples of tools that can do this then maybe they can be integrated!
