If this is Apollo, in addition to what Colin sent you for setting it by default, you can also select / unselect it with the checkbox, as well.

I would like to have the "Jbrowse Track Selector" enabled by default not through human interaction. It's one of the requests made by a researcher that I am supporting. Therefore, I have been looking for a configuration and parameter in Apollo for this setting.

I have added the following flag to the apollo-config.groovy file on my apollo instance, but it does not work as expected. Not sure what''s happening.

      native_track_selector_default_on = true

Did you rerun Apollo deploy and redeploy it with that change ?

I didnt rerun the Apollo deploy (redeploy) after the change. Thank you for the reminder ! Will try it again
