To whom it may concern:

Concerned residents have many reasons as to why a housing development should not happen. Here are just a few to list.

LAPS is supposed to act in the best interests of the students. Leasing this land to the County is not in the best interests of the students.

This development will add an extremely high number of people to North Mesa. That is way over the capacity for the roundabout. Traffic during school drop off and rush hour will be horrible and not safe for the students. Safety of students should be a main priority.

It would be good idea to take advantage of abandoned spaces currently in town and find ways to maximize developments there. As opposed to using up the few remaining natural open spaces.

There already is an issue with low water pressure and power outages. What is going to happen if we add 1000 people?

Adding this development to North Mesa will negatively impact the roads to support an evacuation in an emergency situation.

We would like to know how LAPS will profit from this in the long term?

Thank you
