Please choose the first option for the calendars. We need the number of instructional days to be very close for each semester. (They won;t be identical, I know.) This is very important for semester classes. 

With a week long fall break, no one needs the full week of Thanksgiving off. Making Monday and Tuesday instructional days helps balance the semesters.    

Adding these days will help the Economics class a great deal since I can now add Econ Labs, hands-on exploratory learning for the students. I have very luimited time for that now. 

Move graduation a week later so that juniors and seniors get more benefit from classes. Seniors do not need 2 weeks off before graduation. This shortens their learning time and shortchanges their education. I understand why it is nice to have a 3 day weekend, but it is more important to have education.

My comments on the survey covered a few other points, but I am out of time for this one. Please do NOT choose B!
