to public....@laschools.net
Dear All,

I like to bring up the points which I have submitted today by e-mail:
1.) Funding for the Schools.
Request for transparency and informing the public on the agenda as well as clarification on why parents are being seen as "hindrance" to the schools.
See e-mail to school board and superintendent written today.

2.) Covid-19: Data shows that Covid cases increase in vaccinated rather than unvaccinated.
Therefore school measures need to address the possibility of vaccinated individuals spreading Covid. Viral load of a vaccinated individual is 250x higher than in unvaccinated.
Discussing the discrimination of unvaccinated in schools and treatment of those.
Covid Deaths are higher in "vaccinated" individual than "unvaccinated". Risk for students are minimal.
Comparison of data and how effective is Covid 19 vaccinations.

3.) Covid expert Dr. McCullough presenting evidence.
Has the school board and superintendent reviewed it and are they considering taking these scientific facts into account.
How will they protect our students/ children?

Thank you kindly,
Heike Wilcox

Subject: Re: Concerns on NM Toolkit and implementation

Dear Mrs. Guy, Mr. Steinhaus and School Board,

Many parents have been asking for transparency of the School Referendum and we need questions answered.
You stated in the LAReporter that the funds will not be used for the schools. That still leaves many questions unanswered.

With birth rates declining, more parents opting for home schooling and people choosing to leave LANL, it seems highly unlikely that there will be an increase in students. That’s not even considering the economy and how the path forward will look like.

Why is there such a rush to get this approved quickly?

The presentation was very concerning with hearing phrases like:  “the parents are a pain”, “we want to keep the students safe” and “keeping parents out of the school”. Perhaps it might be a good idea to clarify what was intended with phrases like this and why would anyone use them when it’s about parents and their children?

Also, why would there be such a tremendous need for surveillance and a “full security plan” with “increased security with having a police officer living on school grounds”.  Why is the State pushing so hard to get this done?

Also, in what capacity is LANL involved in the school plans?

Perhaps it might be helpful to have those facts presented as well and what the intentions behind it are.

Needless to say the blueprints look like a specific structure, that would be closely monitored, surveilled and handled, rather than a school. If there are worries about shooters, wouldn’t it be a good idea to inform the parents about that?

With so much responsibility it would be wise to not be hasty.

In an effort to have this information transparent and public before advising anyone to vote on it would seem rather prudent.

Thank you kindly,

Heike Wilcox

Dear Mrs. Guy, Dear Mr. Steinhaus,
Dear School Board,

I would like to invite you to truly look at this information. As parents we are extremely concerned about the measures which are supported WITHOUT the scientific background.
Here is scientific information extensively researched and FDA statements, they have issued.
The intention is for your information.

Perhaps it will answer some questions why we are seeing an increase of covid.
