As a special ed teacher, this is what I observed about the IMMSA test. The math is very language intensive. Even my brilliant, dyslexic student did not do very well. Overall, the kids are not used to this kind of test. For my kids with language issues, this test is extremely difficult, even if they know their math. Over time, hopefully they will get used to this kind of test.
