I would like to address that at the last school board meeting, a public comment expressed disgust for Los Alamos' LGBTQIA+ students, using terms like deviant to describe our LGBTQIA+ students.
This was a violation of the discrimination policy, and while I'm sure the Board was caught off guard, I want to point out that this sort of policy violation is likely to happen again and ask that the board be prepared to stop it immediately.
