Thank you for listening to the opinions of teacher/staff, parents and students regarding advising 10-25 days to the school calendar.  I appreciate that you want to review comments and consider how to implement those that may be beneficial to the school community. As you consider changing the hours of school so that days aren't started so early, remember if you start later then the day needs to end later to get the "face time" between teachers and students.  Or, you need to look at how the school-day hours are used  and consider removing activities that aren't really benefitting, or adding to, learning.

Thank you for your efforts listening to the community about this concern.  It is probably going to be lurking in the background for years.
