Dear LAPS School Board,
Please give teachers time to get ready for yet another change. We need time in our rooms to rearrange furniture (in some cases, to move furniture from other parts of the building). We need time to iron out procedures and routines. We need time to meet with our teams and problem solve! Spring Break can't be the time for this.
Even a single day, with no students, would be helpful. These transitions between school models have felt incredibly rushed. I can't be a great teacher when I don't have time to prepare.
