LPMB Community Night (Friday, October 18th)

Students will need to report to rehearsal from 5:00-7:30pm!

The Lake Park High School Lancer Marching Band is in full speed for our push towards the State of Illinois Marching Band Championships, held at Illinois State University on Saturday, October 19th!

In preparation for State and to provide a great sendoff for the band, we will be hosting the Lake Park High School Lancer Marching Band Community Night on Friday, October 18th from 6:30-7:30pm at the Lake Park High School West Campus Stadium.

This event is free and open to the public—please bring your family and friends to help cheer on the Band! Complementary cookies and hot chocolate will be served at 6:30pm, followed by a performance of this year's show, What Dreams May Come, by our very own Lancer Marching Band at 7:00pm!

In conjunction with Community Night we are asking for help in showing our support to those in our band family who are affected by cancer. We are collecting donations through our website www.lakeparkband.com for the American Cancer Society and a local organization, Phil's Friends. A minimum donation of $5.00 will allow you to customize a luminary bag in support or remembrance of someone affected by cancer. These bags will be displayed the evening of Community Night. We will also have a special performance by the LP Marching Band. Let us show our friends and family we are there for them as we "BAND together and DREAM of a cancer free world".

Students should arrive at 5:00pm, change into uniform, and be ready in the Band Room at 5:15pm

Parents/Families/Groupies: Please wear your LPMB spirit-wear to show your pride and support for our students!
