Good Morning LPMB Families and Happy October!

 

Our Rehearsal Schedule is WEDNESDAY and Thursday this week!

 

Below are two announcements to get you through the week:

Rehearsal and Performance Schedule

Our Rehearsal Schedule is WEDNESDAY and Thursday this week!

Please take time to review our LPMB Rehearsal/Performance Schedule and compare it against your personal calendars to avoid conflicts.  Each LPMB member has a specific casted role in this year’s show (What Dreams May Come), and it is crucial to have the full group for all rehearsals and performances.  Please visit www.lakeparkband.com and sync your device with the LPMB calendar for the most up to date information.

Friday, October 18th Community Night 5:00-7:30pm

Saturday, October 19th State of Illinois Marching Band Championships—ALL DAY

Friday, October 25th-27th Bands of America Indianapolis Super Regional (Overnight)

Prospect High School Knight of Champions Competition (Saturday, October 5th)

Eat Breakfast and Lunch Prior to Arriving at LPHS

11:00am           Rehearsal

2:30pm             Everyone loads equipment on trucks

2:45pm             Dinner in Cafeteria (Provided)

3:30pm             Change into uniform      

3:50pm             Meeting in Band Room (in uniform)

4:00pm             Depart for Prospect High School—801 W Kensington Rd, Mt Prospect, IL 60056

5:00pm            Arrive, check-in, and everyone unloads equipment

5:45pm             Warm-Up

6:45pm             Performance

Load gear

Watch Prospect High School

8:00pm             Awards Ceremony

8:30pm             Depart for LPHS

9:30pm             Arrive at LPHS, everyone unloads equipment

**Please do not park on the right-side curb (closest to the school) of Lancer Lane during pick-up**

 

You will need:

·       All required uniform items (marching shoes, long black socks, 2019 LPMB blue T-Shirt, etc.)

·       Instrument, equipment, and all necessary accessories

·       Clothes for rehearsal (Please check the forecast)

·       Water for rehearsal

·       A light snack for the afternoon/evening

·       Dinner will be provided

·       PLEASE EAT A HEALTHY BREAKFAST AND LUNCH BEFORE COMING TO REHEARSAL ON SATURDAY.  (Early) Dinner will be provided prior to departing. 

 

 

Students: You are an ambassador for our school the entire day. Adhere to The Lancer Way and be respectful of everyone you interact with at Prospect High School. We are guests at a very prestigious event—please show your respect for this event and the Prospect HS Marching Program by carrying yourself with pride, maturity, and humility.
