Hello all!
Exactly one week from now we'll be less than hour from opening the gates to welcome bands and families to the 41st annual Lancer Joust. Final preparations are being made this weekend and week. A lot of hard work has already gone into the planning and I want to personally thank our LPBA Executive Board, Committee Chairs, a few fresh faces to the Joust team, Mr. Mike Lehman, Mrs. Lauren Gorey and Ms. Erin Browski for everything that has been done so far. All of us working as a team is going to make this another successful event.
With that said, we still really need some teammates for the day of the event. We are not quite halfway there on volunteers. If you haven't already done so, pleased click on the link below to sign up for a spot to help us out.
We need concession help, band greeters, band escorts, middle school student runners (this is a great opportunity for them to see what competitive marching band is all about) and other areas. We are especially short handed on the second shift for Finals. If you can give us the whole day, THANK YOU!! If you haven't signed up yet, now is the time. You have officially waited long enough.
Thank you again to all the LPBA members who have been busy working so far. Thank you to everyone who has signed up to help. Thank you to everyone in the community who will be coming to watch and cheer on the Lancer Marching Band.
I look forward to seeing you all there.
Peace,
Julie Majovsky
LPBA President
