You can point them to the website - www.quantumtheatre.com/violeta or our Facebook Page www.facebook.com/quantumtheatre. We're especially trying to get the word out about community night on August 1st (FB Event here and flyer attached) and the Pay What You Can Previews at 8PM on July 31st and 9PM on August 2nd. Important to us that this one feels inclusive and that we reach a diverse population to the best of our ability.

Yes, we're definitely trying to connect with the Latinx community as much as we are able. Our primary connector is LACU. They've been invaluable in terms of linking us up with other groups and are willing to do some promotion on our behalf.  Other partners we are working with include Casa San Jose, La Journada, and the Carnegie Libary, especially the Beechview branch. We'd happily take any introductions you can make!

We've been in talks with Duolingo a bit already about our upcoming project, Looking for Violeta. This new work work concerns the life and music of Chilean folk-singer and activist Violeta Parra, and we are working hard to engage Pittsburgh's Latinx community. At Duolingo our outreach was quickly parlayed into a discussion with their community engagement people and mostly ended up focused on their spanish language podcast. I'd still love to talk to someone about an event sponsorship though - our community night seems like a such great fit for them - we just don't have the right contacts.

Let me know if you have any thoughts or names that might be helpful?
