The Public Works Crew will be repairing a water main break on Deer Crossing Road. As a result, the road will be closed at the intersection near the Public Works Garage during the work.
Residents in the affected area may experience temporary fluctuations in water pressure and possible discoloration. This discoloration is caused by naturally occurring minerals—such as manganese—becoming dislodged in the water mains when flow is disrupted. While these minerals are not harmful, they can cause temporary discoloration.
If you notice discolored water, we recommend running your water until it clears. For the best results, use an outdoor spigot, as it typically clears the system more efficiently.
