Ledgemere Hydro is providing this week’s update on reservoir conditions at the Ledgemere Dam Project.

Current Condition
The reservoir has risen to 305.5 feet as of September 11, 2025, an increase of 0.4 feet (~5 inches) since last week. This improvement is due to recent rainfall and our continued 90/10 inflow allocation plan. While progress is being made, the reservoir is still about 1.5 feet (~18 inches) below the normal post-Labor Day operating level.

Repairs and Improvements

• Both Gate 1 and Gate 2 have been fully repaired and are no longer leaking.
• A new SCADA monitoring sensor is scheduled for installation this week; delivery was delayed, which postponed installation until now.
• A new staff gauge will be installed following a survey to ensure it is set at the correct elevation. This will provide more reliable water level readings moving forward.
• In the meantime, our operators are cross-checking readings daily to ensure accuracy.

Community and Environment

• No environmental impacts have been observed.
• Boating and fishing in shallow areas are still limited by the lower reservoir level.
• We will continue to provide weekly updates until the reservoir returns to its normal operating range.
