I’ve actually never been to a hackathon either (!).
I think that this is open to all skill levels, but they are assuming at least a baseline “you can write code and do things” — this is not a “we’ll teach you how to code and do things” kind of event.
I think people should feel free to make their own teams — we don’t need to have a single team for all of KYOSS. The rules state teams should be 1-4 members.
I think I saw on there somewhere “Bring a problem to solve with code, and the will to solve it!"
