I can talk a few minutes about the origins of the Digital Domain and how, in almost exactly two centuries, computers overtook the world. Babbage, Boole, DeMorgan, Shannon, and Turing: The foundations of everything hardware and software.

A/K/A -- To a theoretician, digital circuits do not exist, and hardware and software are equivalent!
