looking for multiple 2.5" 1tb hdd

Hi.

Looking for a source for new/cheap (I know.. no laughter) 2.5" 1 TB hard drives. These will be placed in laptops, or in external usb drive cases.

Been looking online, lots of sites:

 -Prices are a bit much!!  inflation

 -Lots of used "junk"

 -Lots or marketplaces -- buyer beware

Again, looking for hdd, not usb/flash, not ssd either

So, if you have any pointers, let me know.

Crap... You missed out. I had my father run a drill press through about 12 of them last month. If I had know, I might have tried to DoD Wipe them and give them away.

basically --use case:

 laptop

   -- connects to usb multiport -- 6 ports

    multiport

      -- drive1 -- extern, used for working

      -- dive2 -- used for backup1

      -- dive3 -- used for backup2  rotate backup between the two every few days

I'll have 2 laptops

Not likely. The reason I destroyed those drives was because I didn't want to ship them when I moved... to Europe... which is where I am now...
