Hello release team,

I would like to request an exception to the 1.37 code freeze deadline for KEP-5729.

Enhancement name: DRA: ResourceClaim Support for Workloads
Enhancement status: beta
SIG: Scheduling
PR #’s:
Additional time needed: 5 days (through 27 July)

Reason this enhancement is critical for this milestone:
This KEP plays a key role in orchestrating large AI/ML workloads. Promoting to beta is an important step in widening its audience to evolve the feature alongside the fundamental Workload-Aware Scheduling primitives.

Risks from adding code late:
Low risk. The remaining changes have been implemented and tested and review is underway.

Risks from cutting enhancement:
This KEP is a critical piece to evolving the Workload-Aware Scheduling effort. Delaying this beta promotion by another release cycle will also delay feedback from users which might inform GA-blocking changes to both this KEP and other Workload-Aware Scheduling features.

Thanks,
Jon Huhn
