WG Batch Leadership Update

Hello all,

I will be stepping down from my role as Chair of Batch WG. I'm excited with the progress we've made together with Job API, Kueue and JobSet to mention a few. I will not be going far, but my focus within Kube will shift to something else.

I am recommending Marcin Wielgus to succeed me. Marcin is the Chair of SIG-Autoscaling and has been a valuable member of Batch WG over the past year. He is leading the cross-sig ProvsioningRequest initiative, which is a critical enabler for batch use cases, as well as working on critical enhancements for Kueue.

We'll leave this open for a lazy consensus period of 1 week, then make it official! If you have any feedback, please reply here, or reach out directly to me, or any of the other leads.
