2026 AI Gateway WG Leadership Changes

Hi all,

We (the WG leads) want to nominate Morgan Foster as a lead for the WG, as she has been critical to the success of this WG and is a top contributor. Thank you Morgan!

At the same time, Xunzhou and I intend to go to emeritus status.

We'll provide the normal lazy consensus time of 1 week. If you have any questions or concerns about these changes please let us know either here, or message us individually on Kubernetes Slack (you can find us in our #wg-ai-gateway channel).

We’re well past the one-week lazy consensus period, so our apologies for the delay recognizing Kellen’s role in bringing our working group to life.

 

Lior, of course, has been a regular participant in the working group since before his nomination as a lead, and we look forward to his continued collaboration as we figure out how to work with AI in Kubernetes – welcome! 🙂
