Possible Steering Election Campaigning Violation

Hello Steering Committee,

We want to point out a possible Candidate Campaigning violation.

Please see the following Slack message to the #kubernetes-org-members channel:

According to the Steering Election documentation, https://github.com/kubernetes/community/tree/main/elections/steering/documentation , 
"...the candidate is not supposed to promote their own candidacy beyond simple statements that they are running."

The Steering Election documentation states what action is warranted (if any).
