Reason this enhancement is critical for this milestone: We have already provided this feature, but due to an oversight in the CRI design during alpha-1, the feature cannot actually be used by users. If it is delayed again, it may cause some cognitive bias for users. The kubeadm maintainers are also very eager for this feature to enter the beta phase.
Risks from adding code late: There is no risk, as it is an independent feature.
Risks from cutting enhancement: It would cause this feature to remain in alpha for multiple releases, making it unavailable for users. At the same time, it would delay the deprecation of the kubeadm RootlessControlPlane feature gate.
