We are announcing the release of Node Readiness Controller v0.4.1. This release includes critical bug fixes and new configuration options for handling missing node conditions.
We are announcing the release of Node Readiness Controller v0.4.1. This release includes critical bug fixes and new configuration options for handling missing node conditions.
Highlights
- Added optimistic locking for taint updates so NRC plays well with other concurrent taint-management controllers like Karpenter.
- Added configurable DefaultStatus for missing node conditions, letting continuous mode work naturally with problem states such as those reported by NPD.
- Improved bootstrap-mode correctness, handling of long rule names, and reconcile retries.
- Added options to tune controller concurrency, QPS, and burst.
- Hardened validation webhook checks for selector overlaps and bootstrap-only enforcement.
